First One-Man Live @Shibuya La.mam with Kazali
First of all, I would like to sincerely, thank everyone who came to our first one-man live to show support. It really meant a lot to all of us. Shibuya La.mama has been really kind to us over the years, so it was an honor to play there on such an occasion. Our friends Kazali did a fantastic job opening the show and getting the crowd ready. They amazing performance inspired me to do my best to not let everyone down.
I also need to show may thanks to Kosuke and Kojiro, our two support drummers! Kosuke needed to move back to his hometown in Akita Prefecture at the end of 2022, but he continued to help out, traveling all the way back to Tokyo to play with us. Kojiro was introduced to us by a mutual friend, and he picked up our songs really quickly while adding his own flair.
Of course, we couldn’t choose between the two of them, because they are both such important members of our team. This led to a really unique one-man live, as the two drummers swapped out mid-set which completely changed the energy and kept the audience interested.
I was nervous, because it was the first time everyone in the crowd was there to watch us. Even my boss and coworkers came. I could feel the pressure of everyone’s eyes watching intently, but when I saw my friends smiling and enjoy the music I relaxed a little and had a great time.
I’m not sure what we will do for our next one-man live. It will be hard to beat the rush of excitement and emotion of our first, but I hope there will be many more to come. I will never forget the feeling, and I will always be grateful. Thank you again!
